Description
Professional-Grade Chemical Peel for Acne, Hyperpigmentation, and Skin Rejuvenation
Jessner’s Solution is a time-tested, medium-depth chemical peeling agent used by dermatologists and aesthetic professionals to treat acne, melasma, photoaging, uneven tone, fine lines, and surface texture irregularities. Formulated with a synergistic blend of salicylic acid (14%), lactic acid (14%), and resorcinol (14%) in an ethanol base, this peel offers a balanced approach to epidermal exfoliation, pigment control, and oil regulation.
With a long-standing track record in clinical and cosmetic dermatology, Jessner’s Solution provides predictable, controlled peeling and is often used as a standalone resurfacing peel or as a preparatory step for deeper chemical treatments or laser procedures.
Key Benefits
- Promotes controlled exfoliation of the epidermis
- Reduces acne lesions, blackheads, and excess oil
- Fades post-acne marks, melasma, and sun-induced pigmentation
- Smooths fine lines, rough texture, and uneven tone
- Improves skin clarity, brightness, and overall health
- Can be layered for deeper penetration or combined with other peels under professional guidance
What’s in Jessner’s Solution?
Each 30mL bottle of Jessner’s Solution contains the following active ingredients, each at 14% concentration:
Salicylic Acid (14%)
A beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) with keratolytic and anti-inflammatory properties. It penetrates oil-laden pores to dissolve sebum and exfoliate from within, making it highly effective for acne-prone and oily skin.
Lactic Acid (14%)
An alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that gently exfoliates dead skin cells while promoting hydration and improved skin tone. It targets hyperpigmentation, dullness, and early signs of aging.
Resorcinol (14%)
A phenol derivative that enhances exfoliation and stimulates skin renewal. Resorcinol aids in removing damaged outer skin layers and supports the regeneration of smoother, more even skin.
Ethanol Base
Serves as a solvent and antiseptic agent, aiding in the penetration and stability of the active ingredients while maintaining a quick-drying, non-greasy formula.
